De Reclamecode voor Alcoholhoudende dranken verschijnt alleen als .pdf document en niet in gedrukte vorm. Het is een interactieve .pdf die is geoptimaliseerd voor gebruik in Adobe Reader of Adobe Acrobat. Via de vele hyperlinks in het document is het navigeren in het document zeer eenvoudig. Het document kan ook
uitgeprint worden, kies daarbij voor de optie 'Afdrukken aan afdrukbaar gebied' bij 'Pagina-afhandeling -> Pagina-schalen' voor een optimale weergave van het document op papier.

Kredietcrisis: Google laat advertenties sterke drank toe
Hard liquor mag op Google
Als het slecht gaat met de economie wordt er meestal een stuk meer gedronken (en er vindt een stuk meer online dating plaats). Dat is voldoende reden voor Google om vanaf deze week ook advertenties toe te laten rondom zogenaamde “hard liquor”. Denk aan whiskey en cocktails. Maar, Google zou Google niet zijn als er toch niet gedacht wordt aan de gezondheid van mensen.
Websites die sterke drank verkopen mogen namelijk nog niet adverteren via Adwords. Directe promotie van de verkoop van sterke drank blijft vooralsnog verboden. Op haar Adwords blog schrijft Google;
This fall, we changed our policy around beer, for the first time allowing advertisements of its sale in the U.S. via AdWords. And starting today, in response to advertiser feedback we’ve received over the years, we’ll permit the advertisement of hard alcohol and liqueurs that target the U.S.
Voor bier drinkers is er goed nieuws. De directe verkoop van bier is namelijk wel toegstaan:
To comply with the updated hard alcohol and liqueurs policy, advertisers must promote the information about hard alcohol and liqueurs that their websites contain, such as recipes and brand messages. Ads that directly promote the sale of hard alcohol and liqueurs are still not permissible through our program. In contrast, advertisements for beer may directly promote its sale.
